Sweetcorn Fiesta! Sheffield Collage Club – For Adults

Some crafty social fun for the grownups…

Adult craft club, every 2nd Thursday at Over The Yardarm, Abbeydale Road, Sheffield. All materials are included. Collage exercises and games will kick start your informal session, with a suggested project for you to work on for the main 45-60 duration. Each month there will be a suggested theme, suggested elements to include, ‘random pot challenge’, a technique to try out and some sort style elements to explore. Whatever mashups you end up with is entirely of your own bonkers creating though.

Mixed media. There will be a large range of materials, which will include film magazines, lifestyle magazines, postcards, decor books, maps, flora and fauna prints, wallpapers, coloured card, vintage books, landscapes and countries, National Geographic mags, always creepy doll books, fabrics, felts and leathers, ribbons, buttons, beads and other 3D elements.

You can use the opportunity to knock up some gift cards, removing the cost of the session itself! I love a creepy doll book for my greetings cards. You will find what kind of media and imagery that you are drawn towards and I will of course source more materials based on your feedback.

A very cool venue for Thursday Collage Club, with some excellent pints and snacks. We will be located upstairs in our private snug (but with the tunes) for some creative headspace that you just don’t get at home.
